Meet the Team:
Mindie Kniss, Chief Executive Officer
Mindie Kniss is an award-winning humanitarian, international speaker, and professional coach who left a cushy Fortune100 career for the adventure of entrepreneurship. Soon after leaving Corporate America (during the 2008 financial crisis) she faced foreclosure, eviction, and eventually, bankruptcy. This led to living out of her car and a small office. Fast forward to today, Mindie is CEO of Lucra™, a company dedicated to helping professional speakers and coaches create lucrative lives, both personally and professionally. Her teaching on the science of Heart Intelligence has been heard on stages around the world. Mindie was the recipient of the prestigious Global Health Fellowship based on her work with women and children in developing countries. She lived and worked in East Africa creating HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives. Mindie is the founder of the HeartPath retreat series, Cor Coaching Academy, and the host of BizReads, a podcast for busy entrepreneurs who want to keep up with books on business and money.
Sean Stephenson, Chief Inspiration Officer
Dr. Sean Stephenson was predicted not to survive at birth because of a rare bone disorder that stunted his growth and caused his bones to be extremely fragile (fracturing over 200 times by the age of 18). Despite his challenges, he took a stand for a quality of life that has inspired millions of people around the world. Over the past 24 years, his powerful message has been heard at live events in nearly all 50 states and in 16 countries. Sean has presented at hospitals, universities, prisons, and to companies such as Nike, Whole Foods, Zappos, Walmart, and Sharp Healthcare. He’s shared the stage with U.S. Presidents, billionaire business moguls, celebrities, and his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. Sean has appeared on everything from The Oprah Show to Jimmy Kimmel, in addition to online videos with tens of millions of views. The Biography Channel produced an hour-long feature on his life called, Three Foot Giant. His international best-selling book, Get Off Your “But,” has been translated into over a dozen different languages. As a board-certified therapist and doctor of Clinical Hypnosis, Sean sees clients in a unique 12-hour session that gets to the root of their fears, excuses, and insecurities. Each year, Sean hosts live events and group coaching programs to mentor individuals in the art and business of public speaking. When Sean isn’t working he can be found in the gym, watching basketball, or reading side-by-side with Mindie.
Rose Koppy, Executive Assistant to Sean Stephenson
With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and over 10 years of field experience, Rose Koppy knows how to take people from busy to productive. At Lucra, she assists the team by maximizing productivity while also handling the day-to-day tasks of supporting an executive. Her passion for creating professional structures and systems is well matched with her desire to support people at becoming the best version of themselves. Rose was born in Portland, Oregon and moved to Arizona as a child. She loves to spend time connecting with her husband, 3-year-old son, and her dachshund, Smokie. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, the outdoors, cooking, shopping, watching movies, and interior design.
Steve Sconzert, Lucra Coach and Tech Support
For over 30 years, Steve Sconzert worked in Tech Support for the leading computing services company serving the automotive industry. It filled his pocketbook, but at the cost of draining his soul. In 2014, he met Sean and Mindie at the premier $10K Speeches event, and has been connected to their work, and now Lucra, ever since. It started with Sean’s speaker training program, followed by Mindie’s Cor coach training. He knew he was in the right place, and continued with both of their advanced level courses. That readied Steve to leave the corporate world in 2017, and pursue a more fulfilling career in coaching and speaking. Concurrently, his role with Lucra has grown. He utilizes his extensive IT experience to support the online needs for members of The Lucrative Society and LucraFit and employs the speaker and coach training in his role as Lucra Coach for the Master Heart speaker training program.
