If you’ve found yourself here, you likely realize that as an entrepreneur, you need to care for your mind and your body in addition to your business. At Lucra, our goal is to provide you with the resources, coaching, and training to experience wealth in all areas of your life.

If you have the best marketing tools in the world, but your capacity for wealth is super small, you’re never going to be able to create true abundance.  That’s why we focus on mindset and heartset, along with business structure to help you create a more lucrative life.

You can make a choice to stop equating your self-worth with your net worth, and focus instead on your network, the people in your life that will lift you up, as we do in our community of purpose-based entrepreneurs, The Lucra Collective.

Origin

When Sean Stephenson and Mindie Kniss met in 2009, they were both running small businesses in the personal development space.  As they grew their respective companies, they began to work together on multiple projects.  They married in 2012 but continued to run their own enterprises until 2018 when it became clear that they were only duplicating their efforts by running two businesses simultaneously.

Sean joined Lucra as a co-owner to continue offering programs based on their expertise in psychology, wellness, spirituality, and the entrepreneurial journey. Sean passed away suddenly in 2019, yet he is still very much present in the work and mission that Lucra has held since the beginning.

That mission is dedicated to caring for the whole-life of entrepreneurs and leaders.  It begins with clarity of purpose. If you don’t know where you’re headed, it’s really hard to know when you’ve arrived or if you’re even going in the right direction.

Then we focus on your money mindset. As far as we’re concerned, mindset is 80% of the game.

About Us

Mindie Kniss, Founder & CEO
Mindie Kniss, MFA, PhD, is an entrepreneur, writer, award-winning humanitarian, international speaker, and coach who left a Fortune100 career for the adventure of entrepreneurship.  Soon after leaving Corporate America (during the 2008 financial crisis), she faced foreclosure, eviction, and eventually, bankruptcy.  This led to living out of her car and a small office.  Fast forward to today, Mindie is CEO of Lucra®.  Her teaching on the science of Heart Intelligence has been heard on stages around the world.  She has spoken on stages at Zappos, Pfizer, Mindvalley, Summit Series, and the National Speakers Association.  Mindie was the recipient of the prestigious Global Health Fellowship based on her work with women and children in developing countries.  She lived and worked in East Africa creating HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives.  She is the author of the best-selling book The Heart of Consciousness and the host of The Lucra Life™ podcast. Mindie holds degrees in Theology, Creative Writing, and Philosophy.

Sean Stephenson, Doctor of Clinical Hypnosis (DCH)
Dr. Sean Stephenson (1979-2019) was predicted not to survive at birth because of a rare bone disorder (Osteogenesis Imperfecta) that stunted his growth and caused his bones to be extremely fragile (fracturing over 200 times by the age of 18).  Despite his challenges, he took a stand for a quality of life that has inspired millions of people around the world.  Since 1994, his powerful message was been heard at live events in nearly all 50 states and in 16 countries.  Sean presented at hospitals, universities, prisons, and companies such as Nike, Whole Foods, Zappos, Walmart, and Sharp Healthcare.  He shared the stage with U.S. Presidents, billionaire business moguls, celebrities, and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.  Sean appeared on everything from The Oprah Show to Jimmy Kimmel, in addition to online videos with tens of millions of views.  The Biography Channel produced an hour-long feature on his life called, Three Foot Giant.  His internationally-acclaimed book, Get Off Your “But,” was translated into over a dozen different languages.  Sean held a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a doctorate in Clinical Hypnosis, and was a board-certified therapist.  When Sean wasn’t working, he was found in the gym, watching the NBA, or reading side-by-side with Mindie.
