The Hardest Days to Trade

Jim Rogers said, “I just wait until there is money lying in the corner, and all I have to do is go over there and pick it up. I do nothing in the meantime.”

I don’t have the patience of Jim Rogers yet, but I like the idea.  ????

In today’s video, I talk about how I would have been better off tapping into some of that patience and not trading before the FOMC announcement tomorrow.

  1. I found your 7 charts very interesting especially the 1 hour chart with the 3 signals which I presume are the daily, the 60 minute and the 10 minute. I use TOS for charting and Infinity for trading (just getting started with Infinity at Hubert’s recommendation. How might I duplicate that 1 hour chart of yours. JIM

    1. Hi Jim, That indicator is Hubert’s Ichimoku signals. You’re correct that it’s indicating the 10 min / 60 min / daily. It’s simply showing if those timeframes are above, in, or below the Ichimoku cloud, so you don’t necessarily need the indicator. It just makes it easy to see at a quick glance.

  2. Hi Mindie,

This was very interesting seeing all the indicators you use and your explanation as to why you use them. I don’t use Futures but would like to learn more about them. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
